If you do anything today, other than enjoy a beer in the sunshine, go buy a ticket to Gottwood festival and imagine how much better your life will be when, on 20th to 23rd June, you'll be enjoying the likes of Maribou State, Extravelt, Crazy P, Waze & Odyssey, surrounded by loads of trees! And lights! And sun! (maybe - this is Wales we're talking about)

New Year's Eve is nothing but bad planning, crossed wires, failed house parties, expensive covers for rubbish pubs and broken dreams, for many. Not this year. Julio Bashmore, Krystal Klear, and many other wonderful others will be tearing down The Troxy over in E1 to bring in 2013 with style. Pazazz, if you will. England has its advantages when it comes to festivals. It's close (being where I live). I guess that's about it. So Croatia pretty much wins hands down when you look at it that way. London's festivals are always in a bit of a state of flux. Wireless used to be cool. Field Day used to be way too scene. LED was awesome then turned into a Deadmau5 fest last year (which was awesome obviously). I've always overlooked Camden Crawl... UNTIL NOW.

Well it might be a bit bigger than Digital in Brighton, but Fabric is every bit as messy in the main room. This Friday will see some big names take the controls so make sure you're there. Tickets are sold out (boo) but there are, apparently, 1000 on the door. I've got mine but my friends don't so I'll be queueing up with you. New Music Event: KITSUNÉ CLUB NIGHT AT XOYO, LONDON ON OCTOBER 14TH

Goody gumdrops. One of my all time "HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BAND" (or DJs, whatever) are Brazil's finest, The Twelves. They must be the most underrated DJ team of all time. Unlike Scott Parker who must literally be the most overrated footballer in the history of ALL sport. So, all in all, I'm pretty stoked at Kitsuné's latest club night at XOYO on October 14th.

And Miami Horror! Live! 

I've got my ticket, and if you're not going then there must literally be something wrong with you, or you're busy. Which is fine.

Hosted by The Playground, Electro Vs Dubstep Wars promises to be another filthy night at Koko, on September 10th. With Steve Aoki (the man behind the absolutely insane Dim Mak label) headlining his only London show of 2011, electro doesn't come much tastier. Plus with some Modestep thrown in the mix and one of my favourite bands Does It Offend You, Yeah? it's almost too good to be true. But it is. Weird huh.
