New Music Event: KITSUNÉ CLUB NIGHT AT XOYO, LONDON ON OCTOBER 14TH

Goody gumdrops. One of my all time "HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BAND" (or DJs, whatever) are Brazil's finest, The Twelves. They must be the most underrated DJ team of all time. Unlike Scott Parker who must literally be the most overrated footballer in the history of ALL sport. So, all in all, I'm pretty stoked at Kitsuné's latest club night at XOYO on October 14th.

And Miami Horror! Live!

I've got my ticket, and if you're not going then there must literally be something wrong with you, or you're busy. Which is fine.

MUNK - Violent Love (The Twelves Remix)

New Music | MUNK | The Twelves

You may have realised by now that I could sit in a room for years on end with nothing but an iPod filled with Twelves remixes and a crate of Fosters. Care to join me? Fine. But it's BYOB.

Terry Poison - Comme Ci Comme Ca (Twelves Remix)

New Music | Terry Poison

"I was listening to an awesome tune by this Israeli girl band" you'll be able to say later on. "Yeah it's in French and they're going on about being sixteen and getting involved with some married guy." And if the response is "hmm" just give your compatriot a knowing smile a think to yourself, "I know, I know."

Husky Rescue - Sound Of Love (Twelves Remix)

New Music | Husky Rescue

So who are all theeeese people then eh? Husky Rescue, of course. Remember that Serge Santiago version of Caravan? No? Oh forget it. Now here's a plan:

  • Get out your old ipod shuffle you forgot you had
  • Put this on it
  • Dance around naked in the sun

Ones To Watch 2010

New Music | Ones To Watch 2010

Gone with a straight up Top SIX this year. None of this Top Ten business, it's twenty ten for christ's sake.

1. Top spot goes to your man Alex Metric, whose lack of video content astounds me:

2. Next up the man in the stupid mouse mask with a spot on video:

 3. The Twelves finally broke through into our sunny climes recently with their Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. That made me a happy boy. Look out for more this year. The below is ancient but what can you do, no major label, no sexy videos.

4. Miami Horror's been doing the rounds in the back half of twenty oh nine, and for good reasons. Video's pretty pony, but the tune's a keeper.

5. These guys worked their way into our Ones To Watch basically by default. Ticking all the 'up & coming' boxes on 09, even if not in the UK, they'll be on 'da scene' this year, just you wait and see.

6. Citadels are warming up already for this year's festivals. No seriously. Boost below the fold for Jimmy Lazers on "osmosis":
