Just when you thought you'd heard every possible permutation of In For The Kill, Skrillex steps up and proves you wrong. Slightly more accessible than some of his other work, the drop is still pretty filthy and I like it.

Not to go too overboard on the Alex Metric or anything, but this is a thing of electro beauty. And she's got a lovely voice hasn't she, little Ellie. I'm a little excited about tonight if you hadn't noticed. Time for some sun then time for things to get a bit out of control.

Danger! Add a slightly less manic element to Me & You and I like it. I used to shy away from dubstep as I found it a bit too serious. So it's nice to hear a bit of an electro edge to an otherwise full on dubstep tune. Hard to believe their first official single was only out last year, so looking forward to things to come from these guys especially after some awesome remixes like Hot n Fun (N*E*R*D) & La Roux's I'm Not Your Toy.

Told you it was going to get messy. It is Christmas after all. Now a while ago it was all the rage for RnB stars to hook up with other RnB stars, or maybe Christina Aguilera or the likes. Trust Kanye to take that to the next level, and I mean next level. While My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy seems to be sweeping the board in the top 5, if not top, of a number of albums of 2010 lists, he pulls off a triple kill with La Roux and Jay Z involved. That's My Bitch is awesome on paper and truly spine-tingling in real life.

Struggled to get on board with the whole 'definitive word in synth pop' AKA La Roux to be honest, but thanks to The Twelves for spicing things up a touch. Not a huge amount, but just enough to draw attention to what is, to be fair, a pretty good hook.
