Xfm's Best Non Fest

New Music Festival | Xfm's Best Non Fest

I don't get it. Festival? Not a festival? Festival? Still, I'm always up for supporting Xfm, especially after they stuck with Foals through the bad times. And now they're even in the line up which includes:

Foals | Mumford & Sons | Biffy Clyro | MGMT

Which can't be all that bad. So. Join the queue (online) on the Xfm site and win prizes and stuff. Sure!

My Toys Like Me - Superpowers (Space DJs Remix)

New Music | My Toys Like Me

Count yourselves lucky. This could've been a drab post about Jonathan Boulet or Bowerbirds. But oh no we've come through strong, heads buried deeply in the electro sand and Friday is Superpowers remix day. Our festival guide will be fully kicking off very soon and these guys will be heading up the Standon Calling offensive so stay interested. In the meantime have a peak at their intro on videos.

Festivals FTW - Get Loaded In The Park

New Music Festivals | Get Loaded In The ParkKicking off our guide to the best festivals for new music this summer, comes Get Loaded In The Park where Clapham Common will be once again invaded by millions (ok maybe not millions) of sweaty music fans eager for some old school tunes from headliners Orbital this August bank holiday. No tents, no disappointing earlier bedtimes, the London festival dream lives on for 35 bargain pounds.

Watch out for New Music Blog favourites Bloody Beetroots, and definitely, definitely check out Pendulum and Royksopp. Maybe at the same time, it could be the new Vodka/Red Bull.

That hot new artist everyone is talking about? Marina & The Diamonds. Yet to grace NMB, we're holding our breath for something tasty. Be excited.
