I had a long term vendetta against Kings Of Leon after one of their breakthrough tracks back in the day was a clear rip off of Stand Against Your Love. 10 years since I've got over that and thought Only By The Night was one of the albums of 2009 (even though it didn't make our top 10). Come Around Sundown is a surprisingly early release, and after watching a tirade against us, the audience, at Reading Festival last year because apparently we weren't jumping around enough, it's also surprisingly low key. 

I've heard people describe the new album as 'grown-up' and 'dad-rock' but after a few listens it grows into a refreshing release from the utter drivel that spurts from radio stations across the country today. If you haven't already, go buy it.

Yeah I agree, wasn't really looking forward to the latest offerings after the Radioactive video!!!!! BUT, I do love the album and their performance on Later... with Jools Holland was storming!!!
